1. First WebExtension-based NextPlease! version. Please report any bugs found at https://github.com/alexeyr/nextplease/. The known issues are listed there as well.
2. Nearly all features have been ported, except for "Smart next". At least Firefox 60 is required for keyboard shortcuts to be editable.
3. You can import old preferences from the Options page.
Compared with 0.10.0beta1:
1. all_tabs permission removed.
2. Fixed incorrect links being found on Fanfiction.net (and probably other sites).
3. Fixed a problem with options import.

0.9.1 broke cursor navigation in form fields. Downgrade to 0.8.9 fixed this but I had to look for hours why my cursor keys didn't work anymore for text navigation within editor form fields in FF :-/

Sorry to the developer, but I have to agree with Moz-Fan. The last 2 version (0.9.0 & 0.9.1) just haven't worked with the FF beta's & completely ignore the users predefined Hotkeys. I'm using FF 4.0b9 & it just updated itself to NextPlease 0.9.1 & now it's refusing to take any input from any predefined Hotkeys I choose. I'm rolling back to 0.8.9... AGAIN !!

This extension does very nicely what it promises. I use it with mouse gesture (mousewheel left-right). I see no usage for toolbar/statusbar buttons, as all the websites already use their own buttons/links for navigation... What it lacks most imo is loading the next page by simply scrolling to end of current page. This would only make sense for "forward"...

This addon is too awesome to be left behind... it needs to be updated for FF4.0/beta....

I'm amazed that I overlooked this for so long. Most excellent, and appears to be working well with Firefox 4b9pre (so far). Thanks!

fantastic; this is what I always wanted to have for so long; but never got an idea of searching for an firefox addon; may be too early to write a review but this addon works like a charm so farm with the limited testing I had done. Thanks for the addon!!!

"If you don't like the position of the toolbar buttons, you can use the Firefox customization dialog to drag them where you want, or to remove them." Well, it would be much better to put the buttons in the status bar. Normally you use this addon when you have read the page and reached the bottom of the page. So it make much more sense to put the buttons in the status bar.

Very useful plug-in. Configuring is well thought out & convenient. If it worked on eBay I would have given it 5 stars.

My favorite "can't live without it" extension. Here's a tip: if you have a MacBook with a multi-touch trackpad, you can set up Firefox to trigger NextPlease with a trackpad gesture. Just type "about:config" into your address bar, then type "gesture" into the "Filter" box. You will see several gestures listed, such as "browser.gesture.swipe.right" and "browser.gesture.twist.right". Choose the gesture you want, and then double-click it and replace the existing string with "nextpleasekey" (for going to the next page in a list) or "nextpleaseprevkey" (for going to the previous page). You can always get the default behavior back by right-clicking the gesture and choosing "Reset". I enabled "smart forward-or-next/back-or-previous behavior" in the NextPlease preferences, and chose "browser.gesture.swipe.right" for "nextpleasekey" and "browser.gesture.swipe.left" for "nextpleaseprevkey". Now, I can do a 3-finger swipe right to go to the next link *or* forward in the browser history, as appropriate, and a 3-finger swipe left to go back *or* to the previous link. It feels very natural and means I don't have to switch between the trackpad and keyboard!

This is the one extension that i can't live without. I have a scroll wheel on the mouse that I also can move sideways. and I have setup nextplease for that... It is very addictive

Thanks for the update but I still get the bug where it forgets the shortcuts randomly :(

really handy feature, but unfortunately the keyboard shortcuts stop working too often which renders the addon useless. (version 0.8.0 and 0.8.1 )

Cool add-on, I like that you can actually customize this one, and it works with all of the websites I tried it on. I would like to suggest another input method for the mouse: Go back or forward another page if the back / forward mouse buttons are held for a second or longer. The smart forward feature is nice, but it doesn't work if there's already something in the back / forward history. If that isn't possible, then the SmartPager add-on lets you use the right button + wheel combination.

Very good and handy tools to use.

I suggest AutoPager https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4925 instead. Automatic

I really like it. Sadly, it doesn't work for JavaScript-based navigating. But to handle JS it would be a really big deal of course. For HTML navs it works really good. Thanks.

Finally! This is one of THE most important add-ons in Firefox for those of us who prefer to navigate by keyboard. I've been changing the compatible versions number in the old one to get it to work with FF3-3.5 but that stopped working in 3.6. Thanks for the update!
knigma
This is a great add-on. Thanks for updating it to work with Firefox 3.6!! I've not found anything else this simple of effective: ALT-x simply hits next on most web pages.
knigma
Great plug-in, my #1 favourite. So simple, ALT-X to select the Next button on most web pages. Now works with Firefox 3.6; thank you :)
