eDecibel应用简介

eDecibel:
an app for measure the sound level.
The app use the built in microphone for detect and analyze the surrounding sound .
The value are show in 4 color for the value visualized:
Green, Yellow, Orange, Red.

Avg : Average value in dB (Slow Reading)
Peak: Peak value in dB (Slow reading)
Real : un-average value in dB (Fast Reading)
and a measure in dBSPL (dB Sound Pressure Level)

A continue exposition at over 90dB can slowly damage the human ear
and fall in ear impair.

Below 80dB is the perfect low surround for relax
Below 60dB is perfect lowest surround for sleep

A normal level of a street or a busy restaurant is from 80 to 90 dB
it is noisy, but supportable.

For level over 90 db (for example in an noise workplace )
is suggested to wear ear plugs for protection.
