We’ve resumed home visits in zip codes where Heal house calls are available. All medical staff will visit your home wearing PPE (face masks, gloves, and disposable gowns). The medical staff checks their own temperature twice daily and all equipment is disinfected before and after each visit. If you have one, please wear a face mask during your visit.
If you have symptoms for COVID-19, then please choose the ‘Talk to a doctor’ option so you can be treated by a Heal doctor remotely, via video or phone.
Heal is your family doctor, in your family home. Quality, comprehensive urgent, pediatric, preventive, and family medicine – in the privacy, comfort, and convenience of your own home.
Avoid travel and exposure to contagious viruses at the doctor’s office or urgent care. Heal gives you the convenience of an on-demand house call or video call with a Heal Doctor 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year – including weekends and holidays.

IMPORTANT: Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, house calls can presently only be scheduled at the Heal Doctor’s discretion during a telemedicine call.

• Talk to an on-demand doctor in two hours or less, or schedule ahead when it’s most convenient for you.
• If needed and where available, the Heal Doctor will schedule a house call to visit you at your home.
• Heal Doctors are licensed, highly trained, and thoroughly vetted physicians and providers.
• Create a profile for each member of your household.
• Set your Preferred Doctor to see the same doctor again and view their schedule first. Each family member can have their own Preferred Doctor.
• Integration with the Apple Health app gives you the option to share your health data and Health Records (requires iOS 12 or higher) with your Heal Doctor for better care.
Insurance and Pricing:
• Easily add your insurance info in the Heal app, get real-time eligibility and see applicable co-pay amount upfront, before you book.
• Without insurance, pay the out-of-pocket fee: flat $79 for telemedicine and just $159 for house calls. We never bill you after your visit.
• Heal accepts Medicare insurance in California, Washington DC, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, and New York. Washington state and New Jersey are coming soon.
• In California, Heal is in network with the following insurance providers: Aetna, Alignment, Anthem Blue Cross California, BlueShield, TRICARE West, Cigna, GEHA, Health Net, HealthSCOPE, Molina Healthcare, Humana, California Preferred IPA, UMR, and UnitedHealthcare.
• In Georgia, Heal is in network with the following insurance providers: Aetna, Anthem, Humana, UnitedHealthcare and Wellcare Health.
• In New York, Heal is in network with the following insurance providers: Empire and Oscar (and Cigna and UnitedHealthcare soon)
• In Washington DC, Heal is in network with the following insurance provider: CareFirst BCBS.
• In Washington state, Heal is in network with the following insurance providers: Aetna, BridgeSpan Health, and Regence BlueShield.
• There are no additional costs for seeing a doctor on-demand using Heal. All lab tests and prescriptions are paid separately.
