This is the one true test. Download the official app of The Open, golf’s most prestigious championship. The app has been entirely redesigned in anticipation for the world’s best players to return to Royal Portrush for the first time in 68 years from 14-21 July, 2019 to compete for the iconic Claret Jug and coveted title of Champion Golfer of the Year.

We’ve listened to The Open fans and have completely redesigned the app to include:
Search and filter the leaderboard and tee times sections
– Watch video from anywhere in the app with a new interactive floating player
– See your local time on tee times
– Follow your favourite players to reveal a personalised leaderboard and tee times
– Better support for accessibility using screen readers
– Improved player images, a redesigned scorecard, and more.

For Fans Anywhere
As always, fans all over the world can use the app to follow up-to-the-minute live scoring, video highlights, an interactive course guide, live golf from The Open and @The Open RADIO.

Live golf coverage will be available during the Championship, including a Featured Group channel focusing on key players competing to become Champion Golfer of the Year. Note you will need to sign up with your email address to access exclusive live coverage.

For Fans in Royal Portrush
If you’re attending The Open, use the interactive At The Course section to find facilities and navigate to places of interest around the course. Easily locate grandstands, food & drink stalls, restrooms, and shops. You can also receive location-based push notifications to stay up-to-date with any local announcements or changes to play.
