Having a sense of purpose has many positive effects on life including higher levels of motivation and wellbeing. A large scale study of over 70,000 people revealed that having a strong sense of purpose can result in people living twice as long as those without a life purpose.
The Code is a simple tool to help find and define purpose – to create a feeling of commitment, confidence, and power. Think of the Code as a Swiss army knife to change mindset to commit to better decisions and a better life.
The Code Method helps motivate positive choices in our everyday lives. Built around 12 promises that we make to ourselves, The Code is an effective tool to navigate the rough and uncertain waters of life by committing to a positive and purposeful future. The power of writing—the power of affirming “I Will”—helps us see beyond today and set a course for tomorrow.

Think of your future as being unwritten and now you are writing it.
There are no rules, no prescriptions, no right answer, or wrong answer.
If you like what you have written and have a friend or colleague who needs inspiration, share your Code – if you really feel it, share it with the world.
Every participant has the opportunity to create their own tribe of friends, family or colleagues and share their Codes.
When you think and write down your promises they develop great power – our thoughts are transformed from imagination to reality as letters, words, and sentences – they are legible, tangible, and actionable. Values and goals come to life as promises, as a series of commitments, that form a powerful and personal code for today and tomorrow.
The ultimate goal of the Code is to create a wave of positive energy that keeps circling the globe, infusing everyone that comes across it with a powerful spark of hope for the future. For young people it is designed to create a feeling of confidence in oneself, an attitude of strength that results in positive decision making to combat despair, risky behavior, and negative peer pressure.
