This game is beautiful for a mobile game. Much better than expected, please buy this game and try if for yourself. One downside but it gets canceled out, there’s only like 3 or 4 levels in the main story then an endless mode; But there is also another game mode in the title screen that is so much fun. The #1 person on the leaderboard is obviously a hacked score please remove it!

This game is neat with the concept of foreign backward while you move forward trying to kill enemies all around you. It’s fun and also challenging and really makes you work up a sweat sometimes. It’s also generally short in terms of the core game mode, took me about 2-3 hours to beat easy mode. Endless (purgatory) mode also is fun and posses it’s own challenges while giving endless fun. Kinda confused on the images and symbols (religious symbols) in the game kinda threw me off a bit would like to know the story behind it a bit. Also a short tutorial in the beginning would be great cause was kinda confused on what did what and how everything worked. Tip to players: Flame thrower is really good in my opinion. :) Overall it’s a pretty good game on it’s concept!

The gameplay itself is amazing, but the main problem I have with the game is that it crashes. The main game started crashing at level three, so I can’t play level three, and purgatory mode does not work. I am on an IPhone 6s+.

I am a player who has played this since 2018 and I LOVE it the new mode is great. I was surprised how little the game is known and was astonished to know how small the group was that made it but there is one little problem when will we get merchandise and where are the you tubers playing it? People seem to underestimate the game or think it’s bad because of the low amount of reviews or downloads and I don’t like that, I say you ask a YouTuber to play your game. Don’t change the look and feel too it has a special rhythm to it and isn’t anything like other games it stands out in a good way don’t let bad reviews and stuff ruin it its a amazing game and never stop believing in it. (Not a reference from the second last thing you see in the game) and speaking of that add a story to it, I think you should make them little bits of information from the people who last played the game and left it behind after they died or became corrupted or something, just a little advice for ya there and please add that. Play this game :D

It’s incredibly rare to find a game on mobile that has created its own world and provides a unique user experience. If you’re a fan of gaming at all you owe it yourself to yourself to check this game out for those merits alone. Plus this game is crazy fun!

I absolutely love this game! It’s challenging and exciting all at the same time. It’s so intense, that I stay up for hours replaying this game with different gun strategies. But, My only issue is that there is only 4 chapters. Which is kind of sad, I wanted more after I beat it the first time. Other than that, it’s a perfect game.

So much so that, one time, I purchased it as a gift to MAKE my friend play it. Backfire has amazing juiciness—the graphic design, the control, the difficulty curve, and the progression all feel so tight. This is one of those games that’s deliciously fun to get better at. However, my iPhone isn’t that old and the game will crash and forget my latest progress often (and rather unpredictably). I’ve actually been stuck on ‘Chapter 3: The Inner Works’ for a week because whenever I beat it and want to spend my tokens, the app crashes! It’s frustrating to the point where I can’t (yet) give the five stars I think this game deserves, but I have hope that there’ll be more stability improvements to come!

This is the most fun and unique game I have seen on the AppStore, after each death you always end up telling yourself to play one last time to beat the boss or to get more points for the next upgrade. the controls are really simple and responsive. the visuals besides the game settings are a thrill to look at. The story is quite simple but mysterious. And the music is good and fits the gameplay really well. This game is well worth the money thanks to its amazing gameplay, also the fact that it was made by one person is really impressive and should motivate anyone to spend money because talent deserves to be rewarded.

This game is a really fun shooter and the controls are a little weird but work really well. My one thing is that I wish there were higher health and ammo spawns to start it’s costing me a lot of coins to boost those numbers and I would rather spend them on weapon upgrades

Love this game

The game is quite challenging and fun, but im starting to get a weird glitch that when I run out of ammo with a certain weapon, I can no longer move or switch weapons until I’m hit by an enemy, which basically causes me to lose every time. If that can get fixed, I’ll be a happy guy.

Right now I’m not the dual boss fight.(the one with the satan type demon and the puppet master) if this is the final boss fight then I beat the game in like 2 hours. I got the hang of the controls after like the first hour of dying to the snake pit. After that I speed through the game. The one big thing that I absolutely hate in the game is the running puppet attack. If I even get near the puppet I get shoved in-between it’s legs and then my health gets drained in less than a second. I don’t know I this is intentional but i hated it.

1st & foremost- game is awesome! Game crashes during loading of Chapter 4. I beat the boss(Ch.3), buy some upgrades, then when i hit play it starts loading Ch.4 for a few sec & crashes. Then when i try to continue, it starts me at beginning of Ch.3... not cool

Hey guys, Been playing for a few hours and I’m not sure if it’s intentional but when you run out of ammo on the grenade launcher you become immobile and cannot switch weapons. Eventually after you get knocked around enough you break free but usually you’re dead by that time... Just wanted to share Great game!

This game is made for touch screen and it works so well. The different guns and the way you have to move and shoot with different enemy types and movements to learn. Very strategic. My only criticism would be the screen layout because I am playing on iPhone XS Max and if I don’t hold it volume buttons up the life gauge is completely blocked by the iPhone speaker and the buttons to switch the guns maybe a little smaller I found myself accidentally switching guns in a tight situation ALOT. But still very playable and enjoyable thanks for the great game

This game is good. The controls are weird, but aren’t impossible to handle. The gameplay is good. Sure, I haven’t gotten too far in the game, but it’s fun. I personally like it, though I think I’ve found a bug. In the chapter two boss fight, a fight I almost won first try, my weapons keep switching to the second one and the game becomes unresponsive until I’m hit. This might be a feature, but it’s not a good feature because once it starts it doesn’t stop. It keeps switching to weapon two with the game not letting you do anything, not even pausing. It’s annoying. I hope that this isn’t a mechanic in the fight, because it’s extremely difficult to manage. It only happens in the final phase of the fight, which is the only reason I’m even considering it as a mechanic. Other than that, the game is really good so far.

Excellent, get it. Update: Still excellent, best game I’ve played in awhile. Update: Beat the game and as hoped, if you continue as opposed to starting a new game, you get Purgatory (endless mode) with all ur upgrades so you can continue to upgrade. Perfect end game. Such a freaking good game.

This game is awesome. Don’t personally know the developer but saw stuff they posted online a year ago and have been looking forward to the release. It does not disappoint. Challenging and fun. Love how the handled progression with passive and weapon upgrades. Makes it fun to replay and try to get better. Also, fun game to play for extended or short periods of time. Highly recommend

There are some arcade and action games that I just can’t put down thanks to the satisfying gameplay loop, intuitive controls, interesting decisions, and replay value. This is one of those games. (Also Downwell, Super Fowlst, and Alto’s Odyssey. If you like those, get this.) The simple battles here are incredibly intense. I hope more content is added in the future, as 4 chapters seems a bit short even if I’m stuck on chapter 2...

Love the game but it’d be perfect if it had relative swipe controls. Congrats to this dev for making an original game with nice polish. I only wish I didn’t have to touch all around the screen to maneuver. Five stars if this happens.
