I submitted claims over a month ago and they haven’t been sent to the insurance. I now see other recent reviews with the same issue, so my best guess is this company has gone out of business or has scaled down to a snails pace. Their customer service also appears to non-existent since I can’t seem to get a response via email. I hope this review saves someone else the expense/hassle of using this app.

Helen in customer service: You deserve a medal. I know how frustrating those calls to my insurance are. It's such a stressful time & I'm grateful to have Reimbursify in my corner. I’m convinced I’d never get insurance reimbursement if Reimbursify didn’t constantly call my insurance.

As stated in the title, every time I tried to tap on Touch ID during log in, the app just crashes. This, along with many confusing UI elements, make me wonder if there is any UX testing done before the release of the app or the updates. Functionally, the app actually works great. My insurance provider receives and processes claims very fast — way faster than the conventional paper-based approach. The app will totally worth a five star if the UX shortcoming could be addressed. I so want the app to succeed cause innovation in this space is long overdue.

I created an account in Aug 2019. Asked customer service for an update on my submitted claim in Sept 2019. They were not helpful & not very responsive. I just got an email today in May 2020, 8 months later, that my claim was submitted. Needless to say, I’ve already submitted multiple claims directly to my insurance in this time. Save yourself the headache & avoid using this app.

I have filed 4 claims over a few months with Reimbursify and my insurance didn’t accept my 4th claim. It was the same exact claim I had filed two previous times. I contacted my insurance and they had an issue with the address that was clearly incorrect from what I had submitted. I then contacted Reimbursify’s customer care and simply asked about how to refile the claim but instead THEY took the initiative by calling my insurance, settling the matter and then refiled it for me! I was so impressed! They did what they advertised and swiftly. It took 2 days from the time I emailed them to the time it was refiled. Great job and keep it up!

I’ve been a private practice physician for nearly 20 years. I know firsthand how aggravating the reimbursement process is trying to recoup out-of-network costs — from both the patient perspective and the doctor perspective. I had high hopes for Reimbursify, but when I decided to use them personally, the experience was a total flop. The app is functionally limited. It doesn’t allow you to add the required documentation that many insurance companies require before processing super bills. It also doesn’t allow the user to provide any clarifications for treatment codes if the itemized statement isn’t clear. And that’s just the start of their failures. For me, the app claimed to have submitted the super bills, but when I checked with my insurance company after waiting nearly two months, they told me they have never received any of the statements. Honest mistake, right? Possibly. But when I reached out to Reimbursify multiple times, they only responded with automated messages. When I finally got a real person’s response, they BS’ed me by saying they already spoke to my insurance company... So I called my insurance company back, read them the email and the representative literally laughed out loud, saying they’ve never received anything from them before. After all that, I ended up sending the statements in myself, the “old fashioned” way, and low and behold, my claim got processed. So this app wasted two months worth of my time and then pretended like they had it all under control. Suffice to say, I will never use them again, and I most definitely won’t be recommending them to my patients.

I have been using Reimbursify for a couple months now to handle some out of network claims. Not only does the App save an immense amount of time submitting claims, it allows you to easily track submitted claims and current status. Health insurers notoriously sit on claims to delay payment and hope that customers forget to chase down reimbursement. These forgotten claims increase their profitability but now with Reimbursify nothing falls through the cracks and I’m able to chase down all of the money I’m entitled to.

I was so hopeful when I heard about this app. I hate dealing with insurance companies so I have it a try in December 2018. Here we are in June of 2019, not only have I not been reimbursed from my insurance company, but my insurance company hasn’t acknowledged that they have received the claims in the first place. I’ve sent Reimbursify several emails asking for updates but haven’t had a reply since April. I would love to love this app, but it’s been completely worthless.

I've been waiting to get reimbursement on over 13 claims that have been resubmitted on 3 separate occasions. Some of them are 2 years old! 😡 The app will say that the insurance received them, but my insurance company has no record. ****Side Note: I have great insurance that pays promptly when they receive claims. My insurance company isn’t disorganized and behind in making payments like many other insurance companies out there. And of the few claims they did receive from reimbursify, they promptly reimbursed me. So it’s not likely that the problem is on the insurance company's end.**** I could understand this happening with one or two claims, but this has happened with more than half of my claims (closer to 75%). There were only about 4 out of 22 claims that I didn't have to resubmit. Of those, the overall process was easy and efficient. I wish my whole experience could have been as great as my experience with those 4 claims. However, 4 of 22 claims reimbursed the first time, is not a great average or a very reliable service. The purpose of this service is to make things easier and save time. Now I'm spending MORE time writing this review and going back and forth between this company and my insurance. So frustrating! Honestly, I had better luck getting reimbursed consistently when I submitted my claims directly to my insurance company through the mail. And it was cheaper. I'm greatly disappointed by the services this company has offered. The one positive is that the process of submitting is very easy. But what good is that if the insurance consistently doesn't receive the submissions? I’m still waiting to hear back from customer service for a resolution.

I cannot thank the team that developed this app enough. In a family of five it has been confusing and time consuming to manage all of our out-of-network claims. Using this app I no longer have to: 1.) keep track of which forms to use for each out-of-nextwork bill (e.g., medical, specials, behavior health, etc.) 2.) use home supplies (e.g., printer paper, ink, stamps, envelopes, etc.) 3.) keep physical files of the bills that have been submitted and remember to follow up on the status of our reimbursement Reimbursify does ALL of that for me! Once you enter your insurance information (i.e., initial set-up) it couldn’t be quicker to submit. I timed myself - it takes me less than one minute to file! I sincerely appreciate that the Reimbursify team provides this service for a nominal fee. Another app that offers help filing out-of-network claims takes a PERCENTAGE of your Reimbursement!! I think it may be as high as 10%. That’s a sizable chunk of change especially when compared to the $1.50/claim that Reimbursify charges! I cannot say enough about this app! I wish the team that designed Reimbursify enormous success! P.S. I didn’t even mention how Reimbursify helps you if your claim is rejected. If you have to refile your claim, Reimbursify will not charge you any fee for re-filing!

This app is a huge timer saver. No paperwork, easy to use even if you are not tech savvy. Quick submission and repsonse from my insurance company and easy to track claims. Having claims all in one place makes for easy HSA reimbursement and monitoring of deductibles. Get this app!

Can't believe this is even possible. Took a picture of my insurance card, found my doctor, and filed a claim in a couple minutes. A dollar for a claim and never having to deal with claims again. Well worth it

I was able to type in a few fields, take pictures of my latest out-of-network medical bill, and voila: claim filed. Usually I have to print my statement, print the long claim form from my health insurance company, get an envelope, affix a stamp, address the envelope, fill out the form, and then mail the claim. With this all, I did that entire process without leaving my chair and in less than 5 minutes from sign up to claim submitted. Can’t wait to get my first check from my health insurance co!

This app helped me follow my out of network reimbursement. Before this, it was so hard to follow what my family was being credited and where we stood. Now this makes it so easy! The app reminds you to look for the payment or explanation of benefits after a certain amount of time goes by. I am sure I missed possible reimbursements in the past. With 3 kids, it is so hard to follow and this totally simplifies the process. Thank you thank you thank you to the people who though of this!
