PURE Insurance VR provides unique access to a real-life fire loss of a high value home. With the extraordinary cooperation of one of our members, we created this virtual reality experience to help our colleagues better prepare for these trying circumstances and to allow others to stand in our member’s shoes so that they can comprehend the full extent of their emotions following a loss.
At PURE, we expect all of our colleagues to demonstrate empathy. We select new employees based, in part, on a test of their emotional intelligence, which includes, among other things, the ability to be empathetic. We even hire specialists to train our people to further develop this skill.
